If you use ethanol gasoline, you're burning corn in your car so why not burn corn in your home, too? Corn naturally contains both oil and ethanol.

Shelled, dry corn burns cleaner than other fuels (creating virtually no smoke). A farm can produce an entire corn crop in 13 weeks, making corn a quickly renewable resource. (By comparison, trees need at least 30 years to renew.)

In most cases, the 120-pound capacity hopper on this stove will need refilling once every few days and clean-out about every two weeks.

The manufacturer recommends that wood pellets be used to start the fire. The stove can also be used to burn wood wood pellets exclusively.
