Working with trees and saplings and sticks, sometimes with their bark still in place, Daniel Mack creates one-of-a-kind newel posts and handrails for customers who wish to bring some of nature's unusual shapes into their own living space.

He also creates and sells "natural form furniture" - rustic pieces which sell for $1000 to $5000 (June 2004).
