The Armillary Sphere is attributed to Ptolemy, a second-century astronomer who thought the earth was the center of the universe.

This Celeste Sundial is based on that design. The gnomon's shadow is cast upon the engraved Roman numerals, revealing the correct sun time. The gnomon rod (through the sundial's center) will be oriented to the "ship-to" address, making this an accurate time-keeper.

Made of solid brass, this sundial weighs about 15 pounds. Choose from antique brass finish or verdigris (greenish tint).
