Does the idea of installing a suspended ceiling grid leave you hanging? CeilingLink is a direct-mount grid system that enables you to install ceiling tiles (up to 3/4" thick) directly to framing, sheetrock or furring strips.

It can be used with 2 x 2 or 2 x 4 acoustic or decorative panels. The PVC grids are attached every 16" with sheetrock screws.

CeilingLink costs about 65 to 75 cents per square foot (March 2006).
