Tin Ceilings: Make a splash

Tin is not just for ceilings anymore, as this backsplash by M-Boss shows. The Ohio company has an extensive library of historic patterns and will also create or replicate a custom design for you. Tiles are paintable aluminum, aluminum with a factory applied clear or white coat, brass or solid copper. Standard tiles are 24" x 24" with coordinating trim and nails available. Custom and non-standard sizes are also available. Backsplash panels may be nailed onto wood substrate. Prices start at $8.50 per 2' square for unfinished aluminum. In December 2004, 2' copper panels were $28 to $32.
