Whether you need a durable floor for your woodsy vacation home or a distinctive material for your suburban den, this knotty pine flooring could fill the bill. Offered in 4", 5" and 6" widths, the material is tongue and groove on all four sides, which eliminates waste and makes installation simpler.

Harvested from Michigan and Canadian forests, this flooring is kiln dried, sanded smooth and shipped ready to install. It's also offered in maple.

  • Knotty pine, 1" (thick) by 4", 5" and 6" is $2 a square foot (August 2005).
  • Maple, 1" (thick) by 3" and 4" costs $3 a square foot (August 2005).
  • Both pine and maple are sold in 8' lengths.
