Need a few replacement sashes for your old house? Here are some salvaged windows worth restoring. These unusual star sash windows are available in two sizes, 22.5" x 31" and 22.5" x 26 3/4" from Architectural Salvage Warehouse, a Burlington, VT, salvage house.

These sashes sell for $79 and $85 each, and the company has many other architectural antique windows for sale. Availability of different windows varies, but you can find what's available on the windows page on the company's web site.

A sampling current offerings includes a bent sash with swag muntins and a hand carved center at $1,250, a colorful slag glass leaded sash, $550, and a set of antique beveled glass sashes in newer mahogany frames for $750 each.
