It is gorgeous... but what do you mean by "it's in the hood"?
Is it surrounded by run-down houses? High crime area? (for those of us who aren't familiar with the area)

Yes and yes! Very high crime - arguably the worst in Cincinnati. A lot of run down houses in the area as well! It's very sad because Avondale used to be one of the affluent areas on the city prior to the race riots.

I wonder who will buy it considering its location? It is absolutely beautiful and for a home of that size and quality, here is SE PA the price is a real bargain. I imagine it will go to a some government agency, school, or other institution.

Awesome house. I really hope that it gets preserved in some way shape or form and isn't lost due to the neighbor "hood"....
