does anyone remember karlucci light bulbs...

About ten years ago i found a gentleman on the web who re-created the old gold and orange light bulbs from the teens and twenties... a couple of years ago he closed up shop... and while i had ordered bulbs from him i never got around to ask him how he did take regular clear light bulbs and transform them to the reddish orange or the gold...

Now i use the vintage bulbs for any bare bulb fixture but i have one 20s table lamp that uses the reddish orange bulb and i cannot find replacements. and so far the web hasn't proved helpful...and was wondering if anyone had tried on their own...

Don't know how helpful this is, but 1000bulbs has lots of vintage style bulbs. I've ordered lots of things from this company and been very happy with price and service.

Thanks Dan, in fact i just made another order with 1000 bulbs... unfortunately they do have the painted orangish bulbs.
