Ceropegia woodii - String of Hearts, Rosary Vine

String of hearts is a trailing plant that can be several feet long. The leaves are heart shaped hence the common name, string of hearts. The plants grow best in medium to sunny light exposure. Water when the soil feels dry on top but less often when the plant isn't growing actively. String of hearts is easily overwatered and should be kept underpotted. A minimum winter temperature of 60 degrees is required.

Propagation methods are cuttings, rooted with bottom heat, or the bulbs or seeds formed on the vine.
