A medium to large shrub that produces yellow flowers in the spring and then sporadically throughout the rest of the summer. It can present an unkempt appearance if not pruned. In cold climates expect some winter injury or failure to flower in the spring. The stems hold their green color in the winter so can provide some winter interest. Considered to be generally easy to grow.
