Root Maggots
White legless maggots tunnel in the roots. Use preplant applications of Diazinon granules.
Flea Beetle
Flea beetles eat small holes in the leaves giving them a shotholed appearance. Use sprays of Diazinon(10), Pyrethrin(0), Rotenone(1), or Sevin flowable(3).
Aphids
The insect sucks plant juices causing distorted leaves. Use sprays of Rotenone(1), Malathion(7), Pyrethrin(0) or Diazinon(10).
