Watching food cook can be almost as much fun as eating it with the Clockwork SpitJack. Designed to be used inside today's masonry fireplaces, it's modeled after rotisseries used in 18th Century Europe and America. This type of cooking does require a little more attention and effort than modern methods. The clock must be wound every 12 minutes and a bell reminds you when it's time to rewind. The unit is made of cast iron with brass accents.
Optional accessories include copper or stainless stel drip pan (shown in photo) and rotisserie baskets. Weight limit is ten pounds (per spit), or 18 pounds total (for two spits).
